Bike Swap

The Bike Swap is a chance for the community to sell, buy, and get excited to get out on their bikes! Our friends at Continental Ski & Bike host this fantastic event that offers the community to encourage a healthy and active lifestyle.

LIVE UNITED Luncheon

Each year, our LIVE UNITED Luncheon is a celebration of all our community partners who made the effort to LIVE UNITED throughout the year. Whether through giving, advocating, or volunteering, we are thankful for all of our partners and look forward to celebrating with you at our annual luncheon.

National Association of Letter Carriers Annual Food Drive

The National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) conducts its annual Stamp Out Hunger® Food Drive on the second Saturday in May each year.

Day of Caring

Head of the Lakes United Way’s Day of Caring event, held each year in June and December, matches teams of community-minded volunteers with local nonprofit agencies in need of extra hands.

Chili Cook-Off

Each September United Way invites area chili chefs – both professional and amateur – to cook up their favorite recipes and decorate their booths with a festive spirit. The community is invited to sample the chilis and vote on their favorites while having a great time at this family-friendly community event.
