Access a printed and digital guide to local volunteer opportunities from Head of the Lakes United Way.  Food, Activities and Prizes provided!

There will be over 40 non-profit agencies present who will be sharing information about their work and ways to volunteer.

Join us for a Volunteer and Board Match event with the Duluth Chamber of Commerce, Head of the Lakes United Way and the Lake Superior YMCA This event is an efficient way to meet representatives from 20+ local non-profit organizations and learn about how you can support their mission and programming through board service, volunteerism, donations, and/or fundraising.

Whether you are newly retired or just starting your career, volunteering can improve your physical and mental health, provide a sense of purpose, and help nurture new and existing relationships, and boost your resume—all while benefiting local community organizations.

One area business who is a leader in community engagement is Minnesota Power, who shared that “Minnesota Power gives employees the time, support, and opportunities to serve in ways that strengthen the communities where we live and work. By stepping up and showing up, our volunteers build connection, resilience, and shared purpose across the region.”
